First Blockchain Intelligence Forum to be held at Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest

The Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB) 2025, which takes place from 8-11 April 2015 at the Palace of Parliament, will see the inauguration of the Blockchain Intelligence Forum (Thursday, 10 April 2025), an event dedicated to exploring, understanding and capitalizing on the potential offered by blockchain technology.

With the support of the Basel Institute on Governance and hosted by one of Romania’s most prominent research institutes, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest), together with the Blockchain Intelligence Professionals Association (BIPA), this first edition of the Forum will bring together world-renowned government officials, representatives of regulatory authorities, specialists from key decision-makers, as well as industry leaders and blockchain professionals from over 30 countries. The event will feature both interactive discussions and presentations by blockchain experts.

The Blockchain Intelligence Forum provides valuable insights for companies, investors, regulators, policymakers, financial institutions, and law enforcement professionals. Discussions will focus on ways to achieve blockchain transaction traceability, types of tools used to ensure financial-banking compliance, as well as how authorities can use “blockchain intelligence” procedures to investigate illicit activities and combat financial crime.
