ICI Bucharest, as a member of the BSC AI Factory, organized on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the onboarding session dedicated to the startups selected within the Incubation Space Program, marking the official debut of the activities for the participants.
The event took place in an international format, bringing together online all the program's hubs. Thus, participants from Spain, Portugal, and Romania had the opportunity to interact from the beginning within a common framework, reflecting the initiative's collaborative and European nature.
During the session, representatives from Barcelona gave a presentation on the BSC AI Factory, providing an overview of the program's objectives, structure, and the role of each national hub. The existence of incubation spaces in three partner countries, including Bucharest, was highlighted, providing startups with dedicated work environments and resources tailored to the development of AI-based solutions.
Participating startups received information about the incubation program's stages and the types of support available, including mentoring and technical expertise in AI, as well as applied sessions, workshops, and opportunities to connect with the innovation ecosystem.
The Incubation Space Program runs from April 1 to September 30, 2026 and is dedicated to early-stage startups developing or using artificial intelligence technologies, providing them with access to infrastructure, expertise and a European support network.
