ICI Bucharest, in dialogue with FABIZ – ASE students

ICI Bucharest organised, between December 9 and 12, a series of presentations for students of the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ) at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. The meetings aimed to strengthen the link between the academic and research environments and to familiarise students with the activities and projects carried out by ICI Bucharest.

Over the three days, eight presentation sessions were held at different times, attended by over 330 FABIZ students. On Tuesday, December 9, three consecutive sessions were organised; on Thursday, December 11, two more sessions; and on Friday, December 12, three additional sessions, bringing together students interested in digital technologies and applied research.

During the presentations, ICI Bucharest representatives provided an overview of the institute’s mission and main research directions, addressing topics such as the digitalisation of economic and administrative processes, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the development of advanced digital infrastructures. At the same time, students had the opportunity to learn about national and international projects in which ICI Bucharest is involved, as well as about opportunities for collaboration, internships and professional development.

The meetings were interactive, offering students the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with the institute’s specialists and to understand how research in information technology contributes concretely to economic and social development.
