The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is organising RoNCC Connect on February 24, 2026, a dedicated event for the innovation community and emerging technologies. The event marks the completion of three years of activity within the European EuroCC project and brings together researchers, industry leaders, startups, and institutional partners for a dialogue on the future of HPC, AI, and quantum technologies in Romania.
The event will open with an overview of the RoNCC vision, highlighting how the advanced computing infrastructure, expertise, and services provided by ICI Bucharest have supported the development of the digital ecosystem over the past three years. During this session, collaborators and users of the center will present concrete case studies, demonstrating how access to High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Quantum Computing (QC) has translated into practical solutions applied in both research and the industrial sector.
A central highlight of the event is the innovation pitch session, through which ICI Bucharest offers an open forum for startups and creative teams to present their ideas and products.
