Between November 30 and December 3, 2024, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest had the pleasure of receiving a visit from over 200 first-year students of the Faculty of Business Administration in English (FABIZ), within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE).

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to discover projects in the field of emerging technologies and digitalization, the role of ICI Bucharest in developing IT solutions for public administration and the private sector, and the importance of research in the field of cybersecurity and data protection.

"We are delighted to host this educational initiative that reflects our mission to support young people in their training process. We encourage such collaborations and want to strengthen the link between research, innovation and education," said Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.

ICI Bucharest representatives highlighted the importance of collaboration between academia and research to support the training of a new generation of professionals in information technology and business administration. FABIZ students were actively involved in discussions and question-and-answer sessions, demonstrating a high interest in the topics addressed.

This initiative carried out in partnership with FABIZ, aimed to connect students with the actual research and innovation environment through a series of interactive presentations that provided a detailed perspective on the institute's activities, projects, and departments.
