The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest was awarded the Trophy for Excellence in Research and Innovation Management at the Future Economy Gala, an event organized by ZN PR & EVENTS, which took place on May 20, 2025.
The distinction was awarded to General Director Adrian-Victor Vevera for his strategic vision, outstanding results and institutional impact in promoting research, digitalization and innovation in Romania.
In an evening dedicated to leaders shaping the economy of the future, this trophy reflects ICI Bucharest’s constant commitment to sustainable development, digital transformation and strengthening Romania’s position on the European map of scientific and technological research.
The Future Economy Gala brought together leaders from the economy, entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of public institutions in a joint effort dedicated to business excellence and support for education. The event also included the launch of the second edition of the magazine Future Economy – Women & Men CEOs Leading the Romanian economy, in which Adrian-Victor Vevera is presented as one of the 30 CEOs who significantly influence the economic direction of Romania. At the same time, the gala had an important charitable role – the funds obtained from the magazine sale were donated to the “Florina Manea – Dreptul de a Visa” Foundation to support inclusive education projects dedicated to vulnerable children.
