The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is redefining how cultural heritage is preserved and shared in the digital era. Through pioneering blockchain projects such as the Teslaverse (https://nft.ici.ro/teslaverse), ICI Bucharest demonstrates how technology can safeguard humanity’s most valuable treasures for generations to come.
Dr. eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest: “Through projects like the Teslaverse, we are demonstrating how technology can safeguard humanity’s greatest treasures. Blockchain allows us to preserve authenticity, ensure accessibility, and build trust across generations. Our mission is to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation, so that cultural memory not only survives, but thrives in the digital age.”
Each NFT in the Teslaverse serves as a secure, verifiable, and permanent cultural record, ensuring that Tesla’s legacy remains intact and accessible to a global audience. Powered by MultiversX, the project guarantees both long-term preservation and open access without adding complexity for institutions or the public.
With initiatives like the Teslaverse, ICI Bucharest is building a trusted digital bridge between heritage and innovation, empowering institutions, communities, and individuals to participate in cultural preservation in new, meaningful ways.
