By the ORDINANCE approved in the Government Meeting of 31.01.2022 on the interoperability of electronic tolling systems and facilitating the cross-border exchange of information on non-payment of road tolls, ICI Bucharest will establish, operate, administer and update the National Electronic Register.
At the end of each calendar year, we will communicate by electronic means to the European Commission the registers of the EETS (European Electronic Road Toll Service) domains and of the EETS providers from the Romanian territory.
At the same time, within the same normative act, the establishment of the SINGLE CONTACT OFFICE at the level of the European Union is foreseen. It will be operationalized by ICI Bucharest through an IT platform, through which EETS providers in the country and interested EU member states can obtain information on Romanian entities that charge road tariffs.

ICI Bucharest supports informing users and promoting responsible behaviour in the digital space, by checking sources, being cautious when facing suspicious messages and reporting incidents.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, through Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director, held a working meeting with Arthur Bataille, founder and CEO of Neverhack, and members of his team. The discussions focused on areas in which the two organizations could collaborate, especially regarding cybersecurity, the protection of critical infrastructures and the development of applied projects.
