Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, had an official meeting with His Excellency Mr. Ihor Prokopchuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Romania, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the field of cyber diplomacy and international collaboration in the digital space.
During the discussions, the two officials addressed current topics related to cybersecurity, the protection of critical infrastructures and the development of strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening cooperation between ICI Bucharest and institutions in Ukraine. The emphasis was placed on exchanging good practices and the importance of common policies for a secure and resilient cyberspace.
At the same time, Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera invited His Excellency Mr. Ihor Prokopchuk to participate in the second edition of the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB 2025), a landmark event in the field of emerging technologies and digital innovations, which will take place on April 8-11, 2025.
ICI Bucharest remains an active partner in promoting digital innovation and international cooperation in the field of emerging technologies, thus contributing to the development of a safe and sustainable cyber environment.
