The General Director of ICI Bucharest paid a visit to the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in Romania

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the General Director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, paid a visit to the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in Romania, where he had a meeting with H.E. Mrs. Evangelia Grammatika, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

The discussion focused on relations between Romania and Greece and the possibilities for collaboration in areas such as digitalisation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and education.

The meeting continued the dialogue with the Greek partners, including through the educational activities carried out in the last year at ICI Bucharest. As part of these activities, students and teachers from Athens had the opportunity to visit some of the institute’s laboratories and learn more about the ongoing projects.

The visit was also an opportunity to discuss new directions of cooperation and joint Romanian-Greek projects in areas such as digital transformation, applied research and cybersecurity.
