Overall objectives of the project
- a study on the current state and trends of research, development, innovation in the field of digital business ecosystems;
- a study on food traceability. principles, methods and tracking-tracing solutions in traceability;
- proposing a development framework for a product traceability system in the agri-food sector;
- designing the web-accessible database of the product traceability system in the agri-food sector;
- conceptual model of traceability system for agri-food products.
Results
- study on the current state and trends of research, development, innovation in the field of Digital Business Ecosystems;
- Food Traceability Study: general aspects, basic principles for business processes in the agri-food sector, food safety, quality management to ensure traceability, definition of food traceability principles and highlighting the advantages and benefits arising from the implementation of traceability and tracking-detection solutions for traceability;
- research report on the framework of Digital Business Ecosystems (DBE), generic framework for the development of product traceability systems in agriculture, designing the web-accessible database of the product traceability system in the agri-food sector;
- research report on designing the product traceability system architecture in the agri-food sector, the components of the traceability system of products in the agri-food sector, design elements of a product traceability system in agriculture, modelling the components of a product traceability system in the agri-food sector, the use of RFID technology in traceability (EPCglobal architectural framework), the architecture of a distribution chain and the development database and data access procedures including information about system database structure and procedures for data access.
