Methods for analyzing the impact of social media on e-government processes

Overall objectives of the project

  • specifying the methods for analyzing the impact of social media;
  • experimentation and validation the methods of social media impact analysis.

Results

  • research report, based on the study and analysis of the literature on the definition of terms and concepts used in the research undertaken in the project, the state of the art of the use of social media in e-government, including tools that can be used in the process of social network analysis, social media tools and applications used in e-government; methods and models used at national and international level related to social media impact analysis in e-government;
  • research report on the use of social media in e-Government at a global level with a focus on change management in e-Government under the impact of online social networks including the methodology developed within the theme and the analysis of the results of case studies carried out for 30 local e-Government institutions in Romania.
