Overall objectives of the project

• study on the structure of information systems and on researching modalities of integration into Cloud environment;
• developing a set of recommendations for implementing Cloud migration strategies for information systems;
• research regarding the creation of a platform for application migration management in virtualized cloud structures.

Results

• analysis of reference research results in the field of IT applications structures from cloud migration perspective;
• analysis of integration and migration strategies in cloud (at international and national level);
• analysis of modalities and methodologies for cloud migration of IT applications;
• presentation of the main problems that occur when migrating applications to cloud, as well as a presentation of optimization solutions for cloud resources;
• service models used for the migration of applications in cloud, criteria that must be evaluated in SaaS implementation;
• technical specifications for the migration of IT applications in cloud, materialized in identifying seven stages adapted to the implementation of this process in the case of Cloud ICIPRO, with public administration companies or bodies as beneficiaries;
• research report on the creation of a platform for application migration management.
