Overall objective of the project

The general objective of the project is to provide high-quality, pan-European, trans-national, services oriented to the needs of those who formulate ICT project proposals and National Contact Points (NCPs), by carrying out activities based on the support of a common IT platform and by collaborating with the NCP networks of other thematic areas pertaining to Horizon 2020.

Project description

The project took place between 01.01.2019 – 30.06.2021 and was structured on the following work packages and activities:

• WP1 – Management and coordination: project management, monitoring, administration of internal IT tools, project quality development, ensuring communication and cooperation between project partners and work packages;
• WP2 – Strategic collaborations: guiding and providing support to national contact points (ICT NCP) and stakeholders who formulate project proposals by providing access to the areas of project calls using the tools (Topic Tree, etc.) provided by the Idealist2020 project. It also ensures the management of strategic collaborations with relevant initiatives in the broad spectrum of the ICT area within H2020, taking into account the diversity of actors;
• WP3 – NCP services: training for newcomers (trainings), advanced training (trainings, online seminars, exchanges of good practices, etc.), NCP mentoring, toolbox for NCPs;
• WP4 – Services for project proposal authors: specific services (partner search), tools - content and methodology of use, network events and trainings, project proposal verification - project proposal verification events, networking events;
• WP5 – Dissemination and communication: planning and management of on/offline dissemination activities, creation of the communication strategy, online communication, social media, offline communication, strengthening the online presence of the project;
• WP6 – Evaluation and monitoring: key performance indicators – KPIs, monitoring KPIs, technical approvals, Project Advisory Board;
• WP7 – ICT in Horizon Europe: Towards the new funding program: preparing the NCP community for the transition to Horizon Europe – the European Commission's new funding framework program.

Results

• carrying out Idealist services for the national Idealist client community: distributing project ideas and partnership requests for H2020 calls, guiding the authors of partnership requests from Romania; participation in the preparation of "Proposal check" events;
• participation in brokerage events organized within the project;
• Cybersecurity Ambassador within the Idealist2020 Network.
