Overall objective of the project
The main objective of the project is cyber security and critical infrastructure protection.
Project description
This study focuses on industrial control systems. Vulnerabilities of the organizational structure, industrial control systems and networks, and applied security procedures can be exploited involuntarily or deliberately by attackers, generating cyber-events that may have a strong impact on business, critical infrastructure, and national security.
In this context, security can cover two very important aspects from a cybernetic point of view: limiting access to run (depending on certain criteria eg date of expiration, number of executions, preset execution days, biometric authentication, mathematics schema authentication or other visual algorithms, etc.), but also the protection of software modules against the analysis, modification or copying of code portions.
The novelty and originality of the project lie in the fact that new methods, algorithms and hardware / software equipment will be developed with applicability in IT infrastructures, monitoring systems and critical infrastructures.
