General objectives of the project
Increasing Romania's capacity to participate in the European program for secure communications by strengthening national components and creating a system architecture to ensure the continuity of national activities and transition to Secure Connectivity, in line with the European Commission's new approach.
Specific objectives
Results
The research and development results obtained under the funding contract for the management and implementation of the project “Development of pooling and sharing participation capacity in EU programs for secure satellite communications” will materialize as follows:
(i) A fundamental study on establishing methods / technologies / elements for secure communications in Romania.
(ii) A fundamental study on the current state of technological development and relevant systems existing in Romania.
(iii) A solutions study on identifying and establishing methods / equipment / systems / technologies / tools / concepts used for developing a secure communication system in Romania.
(iv) Concept documentation and architecture for a national system dedicated to secure communications.
(v) A solutions study demonstrating the concept at an analytical and experimental level.
(vi) A technical documentation project related to the integration of existing components to improve national capabilities for secure communications.
(vii) A technical documentation project related to the testing/functional validation of the national system based on existing infrastructures.
(viii) Testing/functional validation reports for the national system dedicated to secure communications.
(ix) Finalized technical documentation for the national system dedicated to secure communications.
