”23rd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)”

The National Institute for Research - Development in Informatics was present at the scientific event "23rd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC)", organized by the Faculty of Automation and Computers - Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics - University of Craiova, Faculty of Automatics, Computers, Electrical and Electronic Engineering - “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galaţi and Faculty of Automatics and Computers - “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iaşi, between October 9-11, 2019.

The goal of the ICSTCC 2019 conference was to bring together scientists from academia and industry in a single forum to discuss the state of the art and new trends in systems theory, control, and computer engineering, as well as to present the results of recent research and development perspectives in this rapidly evolving field. The IEEE Control Systems Society is a technical co-sponsor of ICSTCC 2019, and the papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Clarivate Analytics Web of Science, as in previous editions (ISI Proceedings).

The following people from ICI - Bucharest attended the ICSTCC 2019 conference:

  • Dr. Eng. Math. Adriana Alexandru - General Manager of ICI - Bucharest,
  • Eng. Vasile Sima - CS1 department 7.6 and
  • Math. Constanta Zoie Radulescu - CS1 department 7.6.

On June 23, 2026, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest was present at the event "Authentic Leadership: from position to influence", organised under the High Patronage of the Senate of Romania. The meeting discussed the difference between a person's position in an organisation and the influence they can have through their actions, communication, and interactions with others.

ICI Bucharest was present at the sixth edition of the Belt and Road Initiative Think Tank Conference

On June 22, 2026, the sixth edition of the Belt and Road Initiative Think Tank Conference, organised by the Belt and Road Institute, took place in Belgrade, under the theme "Geopolitical Notes of the Contemporary World: Music or Alarm?". The event brought together researchers, experts and decision-makers interested in recent geopolitical developments, digital cooperation and the role of artificial intelligence in international relations.

ICI Bucharest participated in the “Future Energy Europe Summit 2026” event

ICI Bucharest participated on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the “Future Energy Europe Summit”, an event organized by Club Antreprenor and Ziarul Pozitiv. The 6th edition of this summit was held at the Palace of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bucharest, bringing together government leaders, regulatory authorities, energy company representatives, and researchers, thereby creating a framework for dialogue between the public and private sectors.
