The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics participated at the "The 7th International Conference on Wireless Mobile Communications and Health (MobiHealth 2017)" conference, organized by EAI (European Alliance for Innovation), an event organized in Vienna, Austria by EAI.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest received the „Socrates” award from Europe Business Assembly in Oxford, UK. the award was given for its excellent overall research and development activity in the ICT field, but also for its efficient management.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest co-organized the Asia-Pacific Initiative - Partnership for Knowledge Economy event, dedicated to the exchange of views on the potential of developing Romania's relations with the countries from the Asia-Pacific region, especially from an economic perspective. On Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the ICI headquarters in Bucharest, Dr. eng. Vlad Ciobanu (Head of Works at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest - Faculty of Automation and Computers), presented the DOCKER virtualization method - an engine that allows the encapsulation of any application in a portable container that can be manipulated using standard operations and that can be run on any hardware platform.
