Yesterday, November 2, 2023, Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, participated as a speaker at the second edition of "Shaping The Future of Technology", an event organized by the Romanian Association for Smart City in partnership with Vantage Towers.
The main topics addressed were the geopolitical context and the role of critical infrastructure in times of crisis, how smart cities can contribute to sustainable development, the role and impact of 5G networks in the technological development of Romania, the challenges and solutions for a secure IoT environment and the role of collaboration between the public sector and private in technology adoption.

However, it is important to be aware that with digitization, new vulnerabilities also appear. Thus, we must ensure that innovation goes hand in hand with cybersecurity. This involves education, collaboration, investment and vigilance. Through joint efforts, we can exploit the full potential of digital technology for the benefit of us and future generations." said Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest.
The event brought together leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss the challenges and opportunities in technology, with a particular focus on sustainable development.
