Adrian-Victor Vevera – speaker at the National Congress of Active Aging

ICI Bucharest is participating in the first edition of the National Congress of Active Aging 2023, an event organized by the Romanian Institute for Active Aging Association, which will take place between November 15-16, 2023.

"In the digital age, it is necessary to adapt to new paradigms continuously. At ICI Bucharest, we set out to use our expertise to create digital solutions that concretely support the vital concept of active aging. We are talking about mobile apps for health management, to practical and innovative digital solutions designed to make it easier not only to adapt to technological changes but also to transform the way we live by improving the quality of life." said Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the institute, during the first panel - "Digitalization. Between adaptation and transformation".

The discussion partners of the general director of ICI Bucharest in the first session were Tudor Prisecaru - Secretary of State Ministry of Research, Mihnea Moisescu - Dean, Faculty of Automation, National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, Dr. Adina Alberts - Primary Physician Plastic Surgery, Founder of E-Teledoc, Irinuca Văduva - General Director of ECDL Romania, Dr. Liana Rada Borza, Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry – Telesphorus Health & NHS England and Eduard Dumitraşcu - President, Romanian Association for Smart City, the moderator of the panel.

The event brings together representatives of Local and Central Authorities, Civil Society and private companies active in the field, experts, doctors, scientific researchers, teaching staff, PhD students, psychologists, and professionals in the domain of elderly care who give presentations in the nine interactive panels about health care, lifestyle, participation in social life and problems arising with aging.
