ICI Bucharest and the European Security & Defence College, with the support of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre, launched the course “Security Operations Center (SOC) as a Template”

ICI Bucharest and the European Security & Defence College (ESDC), with the support of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), launched the course “Security Operations Center (SOC) as a Template”, organized between 10-12 December 2024 at the ECCC headquarters in Bucharest.

At the opening of the course, representatives of ICI Bucharest, ESDC and ECCC gave speeches that emphasized the importance of European collaboration in cybersecurity and the development of efficient and sustainable solutions. The messages highlighted the significant role of SOCs in protecting critical infrastructures and ensuring digital resilience across borders.

Over the three days, the course aims to address essential topics for planning, implementing and managing a Security Operations Center (SOC). The agenda includes the presentation of the SOC concept and modular approaches for building it, cross-border collaboration in the development of SOCs, strategies and best practices for optimizing cybersecurity, as well as practical labs.
