ICI Bucharest actively participated in the "Cyber Frontiers in Conflict: Understanding the Ukraine War's Digital Dimensions" workshop organized by the National Defence University of Romania. The event, held as part of the ECYBRIDGE project, discussed critical aspects of cyber security in the context of the conflict in Ukraine and how it has redefined digital warfare.
The workshop provided a framework for understanding the strategic use of cyber tools in contemporary conflicts, focusing on the real threats facing both the military sector and civilian infrastructures. By examining the current situation in Ukraine, it sought to identify important lessons for improving security and protection in the region.
The representative of ICI Bucharest supported the "Digital Diplomacy Fundamentals" session, contributing to the development of an integrated perspective on the geopolitical and security implications of cyber conflicts.
The workshop was also an opportunity for participants to work with case studies and practical activities, with the aim of developing skills in identifying and implementing cyber defence strategies. This interactive training enables the creation of a robust set of strategies that can be applied to various sectors vulnerable to cyber attacks, thereby contributing to strengthening national and regional defences.
