ICI Bucharest, ECYBRIDGE partner, at the international conference "Anchoring Cyber Resilience"

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participates in the international conference "Anchoring Cyber Resilience: Cybersecurity Strategies for a Unified Digital Europe", organized within the ECYBRIDGE project and held from 9 to 11 December 2025 at the Maritime University of Constanta. The event brings together decision-makers, experts, industry, and academic representatives to strengthen European cooperation for unified cyber resilience.

During the conference's opening panel, Dr. Eng. Adrian Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, gave the presentation "The five gaps in civil-military cooperation on cyber", highlighting the need for alignment between the civil and defense environments in a context of increased pressure from cyber threats: "We are already in a continuous competition at the cyber level, which we can lose at any time if we remain fragmented. In civil-military cooperation, we see five clear gaps: cultural, financing, trust, sectoral and technological capacity, and new initiatives must promote a common security culture, predictable investments, real exchange of information, and the rapid development of interoperable skills and infrastructures. Only in this way can we move from isolated reactions to collective action and a truly unified European cyber resilience."

At the same time, on December 10, 2025, a representative of ICI Bucharest will present "Harmonising Cybersecurity: Bridging Civilian and Defence Paradigms - ECYBRIDGE Workshop Key Findings", with the main conclusions of the ECYBRIDGE workshop of September 11, 2025, dedicated to the harmonization of civil and military paradigms in cybersecurity.
