ICI Bucharest has signed a collaboration protocol with Le Conseil Provincial de Berkane, Morocco

Between March 24-26, 2022, a delegation of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics made a trip to Morocco. They participated in a meeting with the Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform. Discussions focused on exploring ways of bilateral cooperation in the field of digitization.

In the trip context, the representatives of ICI Bucharest and Le Conseil Provincial de Berkane signed a collaboration protocol. "The signing of this collaboration protocol demonstrates, once again, that, at ICI Bucharest, we continue our mission to support excellence in research and innovation for better integration in the international space of research and development of the information society. We will positively impact our future activities through this collaboration," said the General Director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics, Mr. Adrian Victor Vevera.

At the same time, the delegation members participated in the second edition of the Digital Society Forum, an event organized at the initiative of the Association for Digital Development in Morocco. The theme of this edition was "Digitization for Citizens", bringing together researchers and experts in digitization, artificial intelligence, and smart cities.

The forum was attended by the Governor of Berkane Province, Mohamed Ali Habouha, the Romanian Ambassador to Rabat, Maria Ciobanu, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Morocco, Mr. Keeyong Chung, and the General Director of the Eastern Agency, Mr. Mohamed Mbarki.
