ICI Bucharest organized a workshop dedicated to the HoReCa industry on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, as part of the Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (TIMM) 2024. Under the title "Cybersecurity in the field of HoReCa: data protection and prevention of digital threats", the event took place on the premises of Casino Sinaia and was designed to support entrepreneurs in adopting effective practices to protect their activities from digital risks.
The workshop addressed more than 90 entrepreneurs in the HoReCa sector present at TIMM 2024, offering them essential information on identifying and managing cyber threats, protecting customer data, complying with GDPR regulations, and securing digital solutions for managing HoReCa businesses.
The representatives of ICI Bucharest presented relevant case studies, provided demonstrations of the use of cyber security solutions and answered the participants' questions regarding the protection of digital assets. The workshop emphasized the importance of continuous education and the adoption of innovative technologies to ensure a secure digital environment in the hospitality industry.
Organized by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, through the Ploiești Small and Medium Enterprises and Tourism Agency (AIMMT Ploiești), TIMM 2024 takes place between November 19 and 21, 2024, in the Casino Sinaia premises. The event brings together over 90 exhibitors from the HoReCa industry and includes a diverse range of activities: sales exhibitions, seminars, workshops and hands-on demonstrations.
