During April 20–21, 2026, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated in the Skills (R)Evolution Conference 2026.
Between May 26-28, 2023, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics is present as an exhibitor at Bucharest Tech Week. This event brings together all technology enthusiasts, from entrepreneurs and business people to students and anyone passionate about innovation and technology.
On the first day of the event, at the ICI Bucharest stand in pavilion B1 at Romexpo, Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the institute, talked with Sebastian Burduja, the Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digitization, Sabin Sărmaș, the president of the Information and Communications Technology Commission within the Chamber of Deputies, and Eduard Dumitrașcu, president of the Romanian Smart City Association, about the institute's activity.

During April 16–18, 2026, ICI Bucharest participated in the first edition of the public policy and leadership seminar dedicated to the Aspen Technology & Society program community, organized by Aspen Institute Romania.
