ICI Bucharest participates in the Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference 2024 (BCC2024), which takes place between October 29-31, 2024, an event organized by the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) with the support of the Romanian National Coordination Center (NCC-RO) and the National Association for Information Systems Security (ANSSI), in collaboration with the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
On the sidelines of the conference, ICI Bucharest had a working meeting with Women4Cyber representatives, where it was discussed the opportunity to conclude a collaboration protocol, aimed at strengthening the exchange of knowledge, the development of cyber skills and the sharing of best practices in protecting critical infrastructures against cyber threats.
ICI Bucharest actively participates alongside national and international experts in the field of cybersecurity, coming from both the private, public and academic sectors. The institute's participation underlines its commitment to support the exploration of how the European Union secures its digital future in the face of current threats, including cyber and hybrid ones, in a global context marked by ever-evolving risks.
The BCC2024 conference represents an important platform for efforts to contribute to Europe's digital security in a dynamic and challenging geopolitical context. With a focus on international collaboration, the conference's closing session, organized by ENISA and ECCC, will address the resilience and development of the cybersecurity market.
