On Monday, November 11, 2024, ICI Bucharest organised a session with Elizabeth B. Charnock, CEO of the American company Chenope, an event that brought together leaders in the field of technology and cyber security in a small setting.
During the meeting, Mrs. Charnock, known for her pioneering contributions to developing anti-disinformation technologies, shared insights into the complex challenges in the fight against disinformation and cyber security, emphasising the importance of international collaboration and constant innovation in combating these phenomena.
Attendees benefited from Mrs. Charnock's expertise in cyber and information security, gained over an impressive career that included the role of CEO of Cataphora, a leading digital investigations company. The session explored innovative solutions for protecting data and information of public interest and ways in which technology can become a powerful ally in preventing disinformation and information manipulation.
This session is part of a series of initiatives supported by ICI Bucharest, which aims to provide Romanian professionals with access to top international expertise in strategic areas such as cyber security and artificial intelligence.

The event, held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, with the theme "Together for a Stronger Europe! IER@25", brought together government officials, experts, journalists and members of the academic environment, strengthening the dialogue on the future of Romania in the European Union.
