The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest had the honor of participating and contributing to the launch of the book "Identity and Culture - National. European. Universal", held on Thursday, November 16, 2023. The event was a reference point in the current discussions about cultural identity at the national, European and universal level.
Under the provocative title "Technology, tradition (post)modernity. What will a national and universal future look like for Romania", ICi provided a significant chapter in the book, bringing a unique perspective on how technology, tradition and modernity intersect in the context of cultural evolution.
The special guest of the evening was Nicolae Ciucă, President of the Senate of Romania, former Prime Minister of Romania, the event was also honored by the presence of outstanding personalities such as the Ambassador of China to Romania, Mr. Han Chunlin, the Ambassador of India to Romania, Mr. Rahul Shrivastava, Mr. Vasile Dâncu- member of the Romanian Senate, as well as Constantin Chiriac, president of the Sibiu International Theater Festival.
This book is a collective effort to explore the multiple dimensions of identity and culture in an increasingly interconnected world.
