The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated in COMINT ROMANIA Forum 2026, an event organized on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, by the Digital Transformation Council, together with COMUNICAȚII Mobile Magazine and TelecomTV, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.
The forum addressed topics that are increasingly appearing on the public and institutional agendas: drones, anti-drone systems, communications, radio spectrum, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the protection of critical infrastructure. The event brought together representatives of public administration, industry, academia, and the defence sector in a discussion on how these fields intersect in the new security reality.
In the context where communications, data, and autonomous systems have become important components of resilience, dialogue between institutions, industry, and the research environment remains essential. ICI Bucharest contributes to the development of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, critical communications, and emerging technologies, supporting the development of solutions better adapted to current needs.
