A delegation from the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated in Cybertech Europe 2023, which took place in Rome, Italy, on October 3-4, 2023, bringing together cyber security experts and industry leaders.
The event provided attendees with opportunities to learn about the latest approaches in cyber security, featuring presentations, panels, an exhibition area and dedicated networking areas.
The ICI Bucharest delegation contributed to the global dialogue on cyber security, sharing insights and continuing the learning process from industry leaders, the institute's commitment to building a safer digital future.
Topics covered at this year's edition included exploring proactive strategies to protect against cyber threats, understanding the principles of zero-trust security and its importance in modern cyber security, promoting cooperation between law enforcement agencies to effectively combat cybercrime and addressing the critical need for education and awareness in this area.

On May 22, 2025, ICI Bucharest contributed to the roundtable "Overview of the current cybersecurity dynamics in the European landscape" organized by the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre, together with the partners of the ECYBRIDGE Project.
