The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated in HPE Innovation Day Romania, an event organized on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The event brought together representatives of the business environment, IT specialists, technology experts, and industry partners in a framework dedicated to discussions on artificial intelligence, hybrid cloud, security, networking, and digital transformation.
The agenda included plenary sessions, technical presentations, discussions with international guests and demonstrations in the exhibition area. Among the topics addressed were the use of artificial intelligence in administration, hybrid cloud infrastructure, data resilience, network security, and connectivity solutions for organisations.

The event brought to the fore the changes that will influence the organisation of activities in companies and institutions in the coming years, from the use of artificial intelligence in work processes to new forms of collaboration and flexible office spaces.

The institute’s delegation is led by Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, and its participation continues the institute's dialogue with institutional and academic partners across the Prut on digitalisation, research, and innovation.
