ICI Bucharest participated on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in the 2025 Digital Governance Summit, organised by Edge Institute at Cotroceni Palace, an event held under the High Patronage of the President of Romania. The summit brought together political leaders, international experts, and representatives of academia, the private sector, and civil society to accelerate the digital transformation of public administration and strengthen trust in digital services.
The event opened an essential dialogue on citizen-centred governance, the modernisation of public services and the role of data as a new language of democracy. Among the major themes were institutional interoperability, digital identity, cybersecurity, the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the public sector and European models of digital governance.
ICI Bucharest’s participation is part of the institute’s strategic direction to support the modernisation of the administration and the development of the national digital ecosystem, through applied research, critical technological infrastructures and inter-institutional partnerships.

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the round table on the theme "Public Policies for Space Romania", organised by the AGORA Center for Democracy and the Romanian Space Initiative, with the support of the Industry and Services Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest received a visit from the members of the Alexandria Local Youth Council (CLTA), a group of approximately 40 students.
