The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated in the BSC AI Factory General Assembly, organized in Lisbon, Portugal. The consortium partners were present at the meeting: Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación, Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, CNCA – Centro Nacional de Computação Avançada, TÜBİTAK and ICI Bucharest.
For two days, the discussions focused on the project's current state, the results obtained so far, and areas for improvement. Thus, the increase in interest in BSC AI Factory services was analyzed, at a time when the project activity is becoming increasingly visible.
On the meeting agenda were the service performance indicators, the Project Office dashboard, the Service Access Protocol, the flow of user requests, and the work tools used by the teams involved in the project. Data, software and innovation services, training plans, communication and marketing activities, the project calendar and preparation for the next evaluation were also discussed. The program also included a visit to the Lisbon BSC AIF coworking space and short presentations by incubated startups.
These provided concrete examples of how the services and expertise available within the BSC AI Factory can support the development of AI-based solutions.
