ICI Bucharest participated in the event "Funding opportunities for Romanian research"

Today, March 7, 2024, Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, participated in the event "Funding opportunities for Romanian research", organized by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization.

At the conference's opening, Mrs. Iliana Ivanova, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mr. Dan Nica, European Deputy, and Mr. Bogdan Ivan, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitization, gave speeches.

The meeting represented an opportunity for ICI Bucharest to discuss and share the institute's vision regarding the future of ICT research in Romania. "It was an honour to participate in this meeting and to have the opportunity to discuss with European and national officials the challenges and opportunities in the field of research and innovation in Romania. ICI Bucharest is determined to actively contribute to promoting excellence in research and developing an environment conducive to innovation and technological progress in our country, " said Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest.

The event continued with debates about participation in the Widening program and the opportunities it offers to Romanian researchers, providing a platform to establish constructive collaborations to promote cutting-edge research in our country.
