During December 19-20, 2023, ICI Bucharest participated in the 4th Ad-Hoc Experts Group Meeting of The Consultation Forum for Sustainable Energy in the Defence and Security Sector (CF SEDSS) of the European Defense Agency (EDA).
ICI Bucharest has moderated Working Group 3 on the Protection of Critical Energy Infrastructures within CF SEDSS since 2019. The purpose of the Forum is to bring together representatives of European MApNs, experts from the academic area, experts from European institutions and the private area to propose project ideas, develop studies and draw up reference documents for the European Commission.
The project started in 2015 to create a defence energy community to share relevant information and best practices to achieve sustainable energy goals. ICI Bucharest has been involved in the CF SEDSS since 2017. Participation in this Consultation Forum underlines ICI Bucharest's dedication to critical infrastructure protection and resilience in various areas, including energy, and its ability to contribute to political and technical discussions at the European international level.
