ICI Bucharest participated in the Moldova Cybersecurity Forum 2024

On Friday, February 9, 2024, ICI Bucharest participated in the Moldova Cybersecurity Forum 2024 in Chisinau. The event represented a dialogue platform between cyber security specialists from the Republic of Moldova and abroad, attended by over 500 experts, officials and all those interested in cyber security.

"Our participation in this forum gave us the opportunity to share our experiences and expertise in cyber security, strengthening strategic partnerships with key institutions and organizations across the Prut and other countries. We continue the close collaboration and exchange of best practices with the field specialists to strengthen the cyber defence infrastructure and capabilities," said Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest.

The forum included discussion sessions, presentations by international speakers and interactive networking sessions. Topics covered include regional cyber threats, developing strategies, or securing critical infrastructure for resilient cyber security. At the same time, the National Cyber Security Agency and the National Cyber Security Innovation Institute "Cybercor" were launched, institutions that will have an essential role in preventing cyber threats.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Technical University of Moldova, with the support of USAID and the Embassies of Sweden and Great Britain in Chisinau, as well as the EU Partnership Mission and e-Governance Academy.
