ICI Bucharest participated in the regional hackathon (Moldova-Romania) of robotics

On Friday, December 15, 2023, ICI Bucharest participated in the regional Robotics Hackathon (Moldova-Romania), organized in Chisinau, within the framework of the institute's partnerships with NEXTLAB.TECH Romania and Digital Flower, two of the organizers of the ROBOHackathon.

The event represented an excellent opportunity to develop a partnership in the field of training programs aimed at training skills and acquiring necessary skills in the context of digitization and cyber threats between ICI Bucharest and State Pedagogical University "Ion Creangă" (UPS Ion Creangă), co-organizer of the hackathon.

"We are pleased to be here, together with colleagues from NextLab, with whom we started this road to expand the ROBOhackathon. We took the first step six months ago in Serbia, so being in Moldova today is a great joy. I notice that the interest in technology, in robotics, is growing; therefore, from our side, we are open to giving support on this education component, facilitating the adaptation of the education system to the requirements of the digital age." said Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest.

A team of high school students from Moldova built and programmed robots, being guided by a virtual learning assistant but also by members of NEXTLAB.TECH Romania team, represented by Răzvan Bologa. The event was attended by Alexandra Barbăneagra, Rector of the "Ion Creangă" State Pedagogical University, Republic of Moldova, Victoria Belous, Director of the National Center for Digital Innovations in Education "Class of the Future", Republic of Moldova and Ana Bulat-Guzun, "Digital Flower" Association, Vice President for digital education, Republic of Moldova.
