ICI Bucharest participated in the Romania - Israel Homeland & Cyber Security Forum

Today, September 19, 2023, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated in the fifth edition of the event "Romania - Israel Homeland & Cyber Security Forum", organized in Bucharest by the Embassy of Israel in Romania, the Economic & Trade Mission of Israel to Romania, and the Israel Export Institute.

"The world is increasingly interconnected, and cyber threats are constantly evolving. Thus, our ability to respond to these threats must be equally dynamic and adaptable. ICI Bucharest has developed innovative solutions and collaborative approaches that can strengthen cyber security at the national and international levels. I am convinced that, together, Israel and Romania can offer significant opportunities to face the cyber challenges of the 21st century." said Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest.

Among the distinguished participants were Bogdan Ivan, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, and H.E. Reuven Azar, Israel's Ambassador to Romania, who made valuable contributions to the discussions, shedding light on unique perspectives on how to address cyber challenges in a collaborative and effective manner.

The event represented a unique platform for dialogue and collaboration between Romanian and Israeli specialists in the field of security. It brought together companies that presented advanced technologies in the field of security: Scada protection, OT Security, Analytics, Sigint, Webint, Training platforms, Cyberthreat Intelligence platforms, interception and jamming equipment, advanced investigative solutions, facial recognition solutions and physical security solutions.
