The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated, on July 14, 2023, in the round table "Presentation of the analysis of European and national policies and measures regarding the operationalization of the concept of institutional resilience, of the governance and societal system", organized by Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (E-ARC).
The event started with an analysis of European and national policies on resilience, presented by representatives of the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi. This analysis was based on a strong theoretical framework derived from the specialized literature, providing a solid basis for understanding the subject.
Afterwards, government policy-makers and experts from academia, NGOs and the private sector shared experiences applying the legislative framework on resilience. Their observations were essential in formulating effective public policies on resilience and contributing to developing an implementation plan and a mechanism for monitoring these policies.
The event aimed to evaluate the European and national regulatory framework and promote the public discourse on resilience. Government, private, academic and associational stakeholders were invited to share perspectives on this critical topic. The organizers aimed to encourage collaboration from all sectors of society in addressing and promoting resilience.
