ICI Bucharest participated in the "Sports Diplomacy" Conference, organised by the Committee for Foreign Policy and the Committee for Youth and Sports of the Romanian Senate, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR) and the Romanian Sports Institute (ISR). The event took place on Tuesday, September 24, in the "Constantin Stere" hall of the Senate and brought together personalities from the central public administration, the diplomatic corps, national sports federations, the private sector and renowned athletes.
The conference addressed key topics for sports diplomacy in the context of major international events such as the European Football Championship in Germany, the Olympic Games in France and the launch of the first edition of the Olympic Esports Games. ICI Bucharest's participation in this event underlines the role that technology plays in the development of sport and in facilitating international cooperation.
The event brought together leaders from sports and technology and representatives of international institutions to create an enabling framework for collaboration between sectors and explore new challenges brought by technology in sports, including in the context of esports.
