The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated, on May 12, 2026, at the Vantarc Defense Forum, an event co-organized by the BSDA (Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security) military exhibition.
The event brought together political decision-makers, military officials and industry experts to discuss, within the three technical panels, the military technology sector, defense spending and the Security Action For Europe (SAFE) program.
The topics covered in this forum were: the SAFE program for Romania, modern battlefield technologies, artificial intelligence in military operations, the protection of critical maritime infrastructure in the Black Sea, the transition to hybrid and autonomous vehicles, as well as the presentation of European financing instruments (EDF, EDIP, EDIRPA).
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated in the ETHCluj 2026 conference between May 13 and 14, 2026. ETHCluj brought together over 40 prominent names, developers, Web3 founders, and other industry leaders to address the latest topics in blockchain, DeFi, AI, and the Ethereum ecosystem.
