ICI Bucharest participates in the third edition of the Climate Change Summit, the most important event in Central and Eastern Europe focused on concrete solutions and actions to combat climate change. Organized by Social Innovation Solutions, the summit is held between October 15-17, 2024 in Bucharest, bringing together international experts from various essential fields, such as energy, agriculture and sustainable financing.
ICI Bucharest's participation in this event comes in the context of its commitment to contribute to developing innovative technological solutions that can support the transition to a digital and sustainable economy. During the summit, ICI representatives will participate in key issues, including the role of digitizing in accelerating climatic initiatives and developing artificial and blockchain intelligence solutions meant to support sustainability.
This year's summit brings together international leaders, governments, representatives of the academic and private environment, as well as NGOs to discuss innovative solutions to the climatic crisis. Also, during the sessions at the ESG Leaders Forum and dedicated conferences, topics such as sustainable transformation, sustainability education and the use of new technologies for reducing carbon emissions will be explored.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest), in collaboration with the prestigious INSEAD business school, organized a lecture on "How smaller countries can compete with the big players in the technology industry", with the support of the Club Romania Publishing House.
ICI Bucharest participates in the "Bilateral Green Innovation: Climate Solutions Forum" event, organized on October 17 and 18, 2024, at the Palace of the Parliament and the Victoria Palace. The forum is part of the "Climate Paths: Innovative Methods for Mitigating Climate and Environmental Impact" project, an initiative implemented in partnership with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Romania and Smart Innovation Norway.
