The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participates, between 4 and 5 May 2026, in the conference "Strengthening the Rule of Law - Bilateral Legal Dialogue between the UK and Romania", organized in Bucharest by the Bucharest Bar Association and The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, in partnership with the Leaders for Future Association.
The event brings together legal professionals from Romania and the United Kingdom, in a dialogue framework dedicated to the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary, professional ethics and cooperation between the two legal systems.
ICI Bucharest is present at the conference as part of discussions on the impact of emerging technologies on the legal field. The conference program includes interventions by experts from Romania and the United Kingdom, thematic panels and working sessions dedicated to topics such as the rule of law in a comparative perspective, the role of the judiciary in protecting democratic institutions, the independence of the legal profession, cross-border cooperation, alternatives to litigation and the legal implications of artificial intelligence.
The event takes place in a year of significance for the legal community in Romania, marking 195 years since the establishment of the Bucharest Bar Association.
