Today, July 5, 2023, representatives of ICI Bucharest participate in the information and dissemination session regarding the regulatory framework for implementing the BIM building computer modelling concept.
The session discussed how BIM (Building Information Modeling) could revolutionize the construction industry by creating a digital representation of the entire life cycle of a building. This technology enables collaboration, project coordination and communication between stakeholders. At the same time, the importance of standardized data exchange formats, interoperability and data security in ensuring the successful implementation of BIM was emphasized. By integrating blockchain and smart contracts, transparency and trust can increase, reducing disputes that may arise. These advances can transform the industry, leading to a more digital and collaborative future.
Government representatives, industry professionals and regulatory bodies were present at the event to share knowledge and experiences on BIM implementation. They shared detailed research findings and case studies demonstrating the benefits of using BIM in various projects.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, in partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service, organized today, July 29, 2025, the workshop on the theme "The Defense Industry Facing Dual-Use Technologies and NATO Requirements", an event dedicated to security, research and innovation in dual-use technologies.
On May 22, 2025, ICI Bucharest contributed to the roundtable "Overview of the current cybersecurity dynamics in the European landscape" organized by the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre, together with the partners of the ECYBRIDGE Project. This event was the first roundtable of the project, focusing on the current dynamics of cybersecurity related to Critical Infrastructure (CI).
