The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is participating in the INNOCONSTRUCT 2026 Conference, taking place on May 14–15, 2026. The event is organized by Cluster TEC – Technology Enabled Construction.
Now in its sixth edition, the conference brings together more than 400 participants and 40 speakers, alongside leaders from public administration, construction companies, architecture, design, technology, education, certification, and innovation sectors, for two days of extensive discussions on the future of Romania’s construction industry. The debates focus on the latest concepts and innovative practices in construction, as well as the implications of CATUC adoption.
The conference panels and roundtable discussions address topics such as beneficiaries as architects of smart cities and buildings, builders as drivers of economic efficiency, healthcare construction, execution efficiency, and the new skills and processes required to meet the economic challenges and technical demands of the construction industry.
