ICI Bucharest participated today, November 20, 2024, at CyberCon Romania 2024, an event dedicated to cybersecurity. Organized by the Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance (RAISA), the conference takes place between November 20-21, 2024, at the headquarters of the European Commission Representation in Romania.
Adrian – Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, spoke on the first day of the conference in Section 1: Challenges and trends in cybersecurity, where he highlighted the importance of rapid adaptation to new cyber threats and the essential role of research in the IT field: "ICI Bucharest's participation in CyberCon Romania underlines our commitment to contribute to the strengthening of cyber security at the national and international level. Investing in emerging technologies and developing public-private partnerships to anticipate and manage cyber risks is crucial. In an increasingly complex digital landscape, cyber security culture must become an integral part of any organization."
The event brings together industry leaders, cybersecurity experts, public and private sector representatives, as well as international organizations. Among the topics covered are the exchange of best practices, raising awareness of cyber security and strengthening international collaboration.
CyberCon Romania's main objective is to strengthen a solid cybersecurity culture and promote international collaboration to respond to emerging challenges in the fight against cybercrime.
