The event took place today, February 11, 2025, at the Palace of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, bringing together leaders from the entrepreneurial sector, officials and consultants to identify solutions for developing family businesses in Romania.
ICI Bucharest supports the importance of digitalization and innovation within family businesses, actively contributing to the identification of digital transformation strategies that can help these companies in the process of adapting to the challenges of the modern economy. Through its expertise in emerging technologies, cybersecurity, and digitalization solutions, ICI Bucharest encourages the sustainable development and strengthening of family businesses' competitiveness in the local and international markets.
Among the topics discussed at the event are the challenges and opportunities faced by family businesses in Romania, the impact of legislative regulations, international expansion, and the fiscal challenges specific to this sector.
The event, organized under the aegis of Family Business Network Romania, brought together 34 member companies with a total turnover of over 4.73 billion euros and approximately 28,750 employees, confirming the importance of family businesses for the national economy.
