ICI Bucharest present at the National Congress of Active Ageing

ICI Bucharest is participating in the second edition of the National Congress of Active Ageing, an event organized by the Romanian Institute for Active Aging Association, which takes place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Through the experts present at the event, ICI Bucharest reiterates its active role in developing technological solutions that meet the growing needs of the elderly population, digitalization being both a modernization tool and a necessity for ensuring active ageing. At the same time, the institute undertakes the mission of creating a favourable ecosystem for the integration of smart technologies in the everyday lives of seniors, collaborating with partners from various fields - from health and finance to education and media.

The event brings together representatives of Local and Central Authorities, Civil Society and private companies active in the field, doctors, scientific researchers and experts, teachers, professors, doctors, PhD students, journalists, writers and psychologists, as well as care professionals older people. Ideas, practices, and policies that encourage active and healthy ageing were discussed and promoted; the congress included presentations on health care, lifestyle, social participation, and ageing issues, as well as the challenges and opportunities of ageing, in an accessible and collaborative way.
