During November 13-14, 2023, an ICI Bucharest delegation participated in the U.S. Aerospace & Defense Trade Mission to Romania, an event organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce where 22 aerospace and defense industry companies are presented.
The ICI Bucharest delegation, led by Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, participates in plenary sessions, where strategic opportunities between the U.S. and Romania are presented and networking events.
"National security today is also about the potential impact cyber-attacks can have on critical infrastructure. That's why we need continuous innovation, collaboration and proactive defense measures. In this sense, ICI Bucharest remains a reliable partner for entities in the defense industry, developing cutting-edge technologies and providing innovative solutions to address the challenges in cyberspace." said Adrian-Victor Vevera, the institute's general director.
The mission, led by Commerce Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia David De Falco, is the first leg of a trade mission that will also visit Poland later this week. The event aims to establish contact in the industry and discuss potential projects in these areas.
